Milt McIntyre brings more than 40 years of experience in the electrical supplies industry. In 2000, he founded Peak Electric Inc., originally as an electrical contracting firm. Under his leadership, the company evolved into a full-line electrical distributor, offering a comprehensive portfolio of products ranging from high-voltage equipment—including substation transformers and medium-voltage gear—to lighting, tools, maintenance supplies, truck equipment, and maintenance materials. Today, Peak Electric continues to grow, providing pre-purchase support, project management, and exceptional customer service to clients across multiple sectors.
Originally from Steubenville, Milt relocated to Toledo in June 1989 to join the IBEW electrical trades. Through firsthand experience in the field, he recognized the need for an electrical distributorship that truly understood the construction industry. With the support of the IBEW, electrical contractors, community leaders, family, and his own determination, he built Peak Electric into a respected and competitive force within the regional and federal marketplace.
Among his proudest accomplishments are raising two talented children with his wife of 26 years and building a successful business rooted in integrity, accountability, and principled leadership—always striving to do what is right, even when it is difficult.
Milt continues to push boundaries, serve his community, and elevate Peak Electric as an industry leader. He currently serves as a board member of the Toledo Chamber of Commerce and sits on the board of the OMSDC, contributing his leadership and experience to advancing business development, economic growth, and community impact across the region.
